Delivering 2,300 Square Meters of Scato Marble in Mekka, Saudi Arabia
Updated: 8 hours ago
All Stones AB supplied 2,300 m² of Scato marble for a project in Mekka, Saudi Arabia. All pieces were supplied in the same 120 × 60 cm format, 2 cm thick.
The project
The order covered 2,300 m² of Scato marble, with every piece in 120 × 60 cm and 2 cm thick. Supplying one stone in a single format at this volume calls for careful planning, from the raw stone to the finished pieces.
Scato marble, 120 × 60 cm, 2 cm thick – finished and crated for shipment for a project in Mekka.
Challenges along the way
The project took place during difficult regional conditions and at a time when the supply of raw stone was challenging. These circumstances affected the schedule, and the delivery took longer than originally planned. Despite this, the order was completed in full.
We prefer to be open about this. Large stone projects depend on quarries, the availability of raw stone and conditions in the region, and not everything can be controlled. What counts in the end is that the full 2,300 m² was completed.
